Daddy Yankee’s wife delivers corporations documents to put an end to lawsuit

Mireddys González, current wife of Daddy Yankee, reported Thursday that he delivered all the documents related to the corporations El cartel Records and the Cangris Inc., which could end the lawsuit between them.

This was reported by González to the court of San Juan, in charge of the case, through his legal representation, composed of lawyers Roberto Alonso and Mariel Colón.

The motion indicates that a «management letter» is being referred by email, attending «all matters required by those in relation to the state of the corporations that previously administered,» the Puerto Rican media published.

«The appearing parties (González and his sister Ayeicha) understand that they have already downloaded their entire responsibility under the agreements reached that served as the basis for the judgment issued in this case, since they have already informed and/or delivered everything they can offer, Deliver or communicate in relation to the corporations in question, ”continues the text.

Therefore, they consider that the appearance of the parties is «unnecessary», indicated for this February.

Among the documents demanded by Daddy Yankee that were missing, there were contracts related to tours and other business issues.

The singer’s defense assured at the time that the controversy would end if all the documents were delivered.

The lawsuit for the control of the Records poster and the Cangris Inc. began after last December the González sisters made transfers for the total sum of 100 million dollars from the corporate bank accounts to personal accounts of each party, without knowledge or authorization of the artist.

The events occurred after Daddy Yankee confirmed his separation from González after almost three decades of marriage and two children in common.

At the end of last January, the singer announced that he had hired the expert bank security company CCG Consultants LLC, led by Carlos Cases Gallardo, former FBI’s chief in Puerto Rico, to «order» his corporations.
