Woman stabs her brother after a discussion for the use of the washing machine

A family tragedy shook Andrés Bello Avenue in Caracas on the night of February 7, when an argument for the use of the washing machine culminated with the death of a 27 -year -old at the hands of her own sister.

According to Douglas Rico, director of the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (CICPC), the victim, identified as Carlos Yonaiker Sojo Mendoza, died after being stabbed in the neck by his sister, Aymari Stefanía Hernández Sojo, 33.

The incident was triggered when Carlos used Aymari’s washing machine without his permission, which caused a heated discussion that climbed to physical aggression. In the midst of the altercation, Aymari took a knife and assaulted a mortal wound to his brother.

After the attack, Aymari fled the place, while Carlos was urgently transferred to the University Clinical Hospital by neighbors who witnessed the scene. Despite medical efforts, Carlos died shortly after his admission.

CICPC officials immediately began investigations and managed to capture Aymari, who was made available to the 41st Prosecutor’s Office of the Caracas Metropolitan Area to face due judicial process. The murderer was also recovered.

This unfortunate event enluta to a family and dismays the community of Andrés Bello Avenue, where neighbors regret the tragic death of Carlos and the difficult situation that Aymari now faces.
