The Yeezy Fashion Brand website, owned by the American singer of Hip Hop Kanye West, was offline on Tuesday after he started selling white shirts with a stamped swastika.

In the portal the message «something went wrong» was exhibited and «this store is not available.»

West, who now calls YE, appeared in an ad for the website that was issued in the south of the state of California during the Super Bowl, the main shock of the American Football League.

In that low -budget commercial, the singer was sitting at what seemed to be a dentist chair, showing a denture with diamond inlays and saying that he had spent all the money from the announcement on those new teeth.

He detailed to the spectators that he had filmed the announcement on an iPhone and invited them to visit their portal (an unique URL was removed).

Immediately after the announcement was issued, Variety reported, the website had a variety of West fashion items, but changed a short time later and began to show only one article: a white shirt with a large black swastika in the front , with a label marking a price of $ 20.

Citing people close to the advertisement process, Variety said the 30 -second announcement had passed through the usual approval channels, which included a visit to the website. Nothing objectable was pointed out.

But on Tuesday, the website, which was supported by the Electronic Commerce Commerce, was offline.

«All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform. This merchant did not participate in authentic commercial practices and violated our terms, so we eliminated it from Shopify, ”said the firm in a statement.

The new controversy occurred just a few days after the West account in X (platform previously known as Twitter) disappeared following a diatribe of several days that included vitriolic and anti -Semitic outbursts.
