That is why a couple of Cuban YouTubers has created a list with practical advice to avoid being the object of vandalism in the streets of Havana, especially for those who visit the capital.
The Creator of Content Víctor González, shared through his Instagram account, @victoriny_, a video where he shares some of the most frequent situations in the capital streets and how to avoid them.

Through audiovisual material, González explains that robberies have become almost normal day to day. Criminals are usually on a nice and seek more vulnerable victims such as tourists, older people or women.
Main recommendations to avoid robberies in Havana
Among the first recommendations offered by these youtubers, is not to wear too striking garments such as chains, necklaces, earrings, rings etc.

They also explain that it is better to wear small bags that can be crossed or, in the case of backpacks, bring them in the chest and not behind the back. «Many times they open your backpack and take the things inside,» they explain.
Another of the objectives of theft are all recording devices. This is the case of telephones, cameras, microphones and spotlights used by content creators to record in Havana streets.
Likewise, they recommend being very careful to those who change dollars in the streets. The way in which the scammers operate is to have the money in their hands and then go running.
Finally, the Cuban YouTuber recommended not consuming food in street stalls. Many of them do not have the sanitary norms necessary for food elaboration and can be infectious foci.
