Firefighters from Caracas rescue man after falling to the Guaire River




The Caracas Fire Department (CBC) carried out a successful rescue operation to save the life of a man of approximately 26 years who had fallen to the Guaire River.

  • The rescue occurred at the back of Motherhood Concepción Palacios, adjacent to the Locatel, on San Martín Avenue, San Juan Parish of the Libertador municipality.
  • The victim, a person in a street situation, rushed from a bridge to the tributary, suffering a possible fracture in the right leg.
  • CBC troops carried out the rescue and stabilization of the young man at the place of the incident.
  • Subsequently, he was transferred to the Miguel Pérez Carreño hospital to receive specialized medical care.
