Chacao police dismantle the band dedicated to theft in local shops

In an operation against crime, the Chacao Police has achieved the capture of five individuals involved in multiple robberies that affected various shops in the area. This action represents a significant blow to criminal activity in the municipality, reinforcing the commitment of the authorities with citizen security.

The detainees, whose identities have been confirmed as Carolina Mayelin Sirit Azócar, Franca Karina Dimartino Bello, Oscar Gregorio Gallones Figuera, Jhoan Alexander Gollo Griman and Romer José Pinto Zanotty, were apprehended after a series of investigations that directly link them with theft in renowned establishments such as Pharmatod Chacaíto, as well as the theft of strategic material in a local construction.

The director of Polichacao, Luis Gonzalo Fernández, highlighted the effectiveness of the operation and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to the safety of citizens and merchants. «This achievement is the result of constant and coordinated work, and demonstrates that we will not tolerate impunity. We will continue to intensify our work to guarantee a safe environment for all, ”he said.

The Chacao Police calls on the community to continue actively collaborating, reporting any suspicious activity through the communication channels available. The detainees have been made available to the Public Ministry for the beginning of the corresponding judicial process.
