Since its inception in the National Ballet of Cuba (BNC), Viengsay Valdés He stood out for his virtuosity. During 1994, he returned to the organization and, in less than two years, was chosen main dancer.
In 2001, he reached the rank of first dancer, consolidating his status as one of the greatest exponents of the Cuban Ballet School.
