The vice president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, denounced on Wednesday that Guyana flagrantly persists in violating the legality of a sea pending for delimiting by unilaterally disposing of the area in controversy.
«The Caribbean Zelensky persists in flagrantly violating international legality by unilaterally disposing of a sea pending for delimiting,» wrote the vice president in her Telegram channel.
Rodríguez struck that Georgetown’s «four -year -old posture» intends to threaten Venezuela through «disused hegemons» to «disturb the peace of the region.»
«This sad character in the history of our Caribbean only has a legitimate option: the political negotiation within the framework of the Argyle mechanism,» said the high official in response to the most recent statements of the Guyanese president who demands that Venezuela meets the «ruling» of the International Criminal Court (ICC) on the controversy.
Previously, Irfan Ali President of Guyana denounced the alleged incursion of ships of the Venezuelan Navy in the area in controversy and where the exxonmobil is performing the illegal exploitation of oil.
