Arrested man in Sucre for drug and abuse four minors

The subject invited the victims to eat at home before committing the crimes.

Sucre State Police officials arrested Julio Alberto Córdova, 57 years old on Tuesday, for being accused of alleged sexual abuse and drug supply against four girls of ages between 13 and 17 years.

The subject’s modus operandi consisted of gaining the trust of the minors inviting them to eat at their home. Once there, he allegedly drugged them and later committed the abuses.

Córdova’s arrest was carried out after receiving several complaints and after an investigation by the authorities. The case has generated commotion in the community and has an awareness campaign on the importance of protecting minors.

The authorities call on citizens to denounce any suspicious situation that endangers the integrity of children and adolescents.
