Arrested subject to assault his grandmother with a hammer and a knife in Caracas

The Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (Cicpc) arrested a 19 -year -old man identified as César Aarón Eraz Intercommunal Avenue El Valle, Homonym Parish of Caracas.

As reported by the director of the Cicpc, Douglas Rico, Erazo Santoni allegedly attacked the Septuagenaria under the effects of psychotropic substances. The officials of the Municipal Delegation El Valle del Cicpc received a phone call warning about an irregular situation in the house.

In response to the emergency call, the Cicpc detectives, in collaboration with members of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), moved to the scene. Upon arrival, they found that Erazo Santoni had locked her grandmother in one of the rooms, where she threatened her with a knife and a hammer.

Family members present in the house, not being able to control the situation, requested the support of Cicpc officials. After an arduous negotiation work with the aggressor, the agents managed to arrest Eraz Santoni.

Despite the negotiation, the individual wounded the oldest adult in the chest, arm and hand with the knife, and hit him in the head and shoulder with the hammer.

Erazo Santoni was made available to the 132nd Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the Metropolitan Area of ​​Caracas, with competence in defense of women, for the crime of femicide in degree of frustration.

The director of the Cicpc, Douglas Rico, highlighted the rapid action of the officials to detain the aggressor and protect the integrity of the victim.
