A Delta plane crashed Monday at the Pearson International Airport in Toronto, authorities reported.

The CBC television network indicated that the plane turned to land and that eight people were injured.

All passengers and crew were located, the airport explained in an X statement.

The representatives of Delta did not immediately respond to a request for comments from the Reuters agency.

«There is a plane crash. However, we do not know the circumstances that surround it at this time,» said agent Sarah Patten, of the Peel Regional Police in Ontario.

«I understand that most passengers are out and without suffering damage, but we are still trying to make sure as we continue investigating in the place,» he added.
