Expran de Tocuyito suffers armed attack on Carabobo: his wife dies

Néstor Richardi Sequera and Addys Barrios were attacked by armed men on the main avenue of Tazajal, Naguanagua.

A violent armed attack on the main avenue of Tazajal, Naguanagua municipality, claimed the life of Addys Barrios, wife of Néstor Richardi Sequera, expans from the Tocuyito prison. The incident occurred around 10:00 pm on Monday, when the couple moved in their Mitsubishi Montero Negra truck.

According to reports from the regional medium El Carabobeño, five men dressed in white and armed with long -range rifles intercepted the vehicle, apparently armored, and opened fire indiscriminately.

Addys Barrios, who was traveling in the passenger seat, received multiple bullet impacts and was urgently transferred to the Northern Metropolitan Clinic, where he died hours later due to the seriousness of his wounds. Néstor Richardi Sequera, who was driving the truck, was also injured in the attack.

Images of security cameras in the area show how a white Dong S30 vehicle blocked the passage of the truck, and the attackers descended to open fire. The victims tried to escape, but were reached by the bullets.

The attack took place in front of the peak residences of Monte Alegre III, on 180 Avenue of the Tazajal urbanization. Officials of the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (CICPC) were presented at the scene to collect evidence, including bullets. The injured were transferred to the Northern Metropolitan Clinic by officials of the Directorate against Organized Crime.

After the attack, Néstor Richardi Sequera, known as RSIETE, published two stories on his Instagram account. In one of them, he said: «Some cry, others sell the scarves. It is not who does the most, it is the one who lasts. The family is sacred ». In another publication, he dedicated words to his deceased wife: «Go and tell God of all our dreams and desires. I will love you this and in another life, I would choose you, ”and labeled Noreh singer, mentioning that his wife was a fan of his music.

The figure of Richardi charged notoriety in September 2023, during the eviction operation of the Tocuyito prison. At that time, he published a farewell story, but his whereabouts have been unknown since then. It is speculated that he could have fled the prison before the intervention of the authorities, since he enjoyed privileges within the prison.

The authorities continue to investigate the incident to determine those responsible and clarify the reasons for the attack.
