The political prisoner Félix Navarro could be admitted to the Military Hospital of Matanzas, according to information, without confirming, obtained by his wife, the lady of Blanco Sonia Álvarez Campillo.
«Félix was taken to the Hospital de Colón on Friday, he was made plaques, ultrasound and saw him a doctor. We do not know what he has,» the activist, who could know about the fact through a friend who saw Navarro when the penitentiary guards led him to get the medical tests, told Martí News.
The prison authorities have not provided information about the health status of the opponent: “But it came to me that Felix had been transferred to the hospital in Matanzas and I still don’t know anything, because I talked to the State’s security and told me that Felix remains in (the prison) Agüica.
Navarro, leader of the opponent for democracy Pedro Luis Boitel, was sentenced, after the protests of July 11, 2021, 9 years of deprivation of liberty for the alleged crimes of attack and public disorder.
He was put after bars again on April 29, after being released in January by virtue of the conversations between the government of the island and the Vatican.
According to reports received by the Legal Advisory Center, Cubalex, Navarro, Diabetic and 70 years, it could have been intentionally exposed to a virus during his seclusion in the nursing of the prison, where he remained several days without medical justification.

The Civil Hospital «Faustino Pérez», of the Matanzera capital, did not answer our calls.
«I have gone to prison three times, they have not let me see me, they have not given me a call with him. I was calling the hospital, but the hospitals do not take the phone,» lamented the wife of the political prisoner.
International organizations and personalities have demanded from the regime the release of Félix Navarro and have denounced that their diseases are incompatible with the conditions of Cuban prison establishments, which are characterized by overcrowding and poor food and medical care.
