Fetus without life in public roads of San Carlos, Cojedes; CICPC starts research

Police authorities of the State Cojedes have initiated an investigation after the discovery of a lifeless fetus on Avenida II of the Las Tejitas community, in San Carlos.

The finding occurred in the morning of Sunday, March 2 and was reported by a citizen who traveled in the area. At approximately 9:00 am, the individual went to the Civil Protection headquarters (PC) of Cojedes to inform about the discovery.

According to the report, the witness initially confused the fetus with a piece of meat, but after a more detailed inspection, confirmed the nature of the finding.

Civil Protection officials moved to the place and verified the presence of the fetus on public roads, immediately notifying the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (Cicpc) of the Cojedes State.

Cicpc agents proceeded with the lifting of the body, which was transferred to the local forensic medication to carry out the relevant investigations.

So far, no information on the identity or possible origin of the fetus has been provided. The authorities have initiated investigations to collect evidence and clarify the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.
