Cuba received a score of 10 out of 100 points, two less than in the report published in 2024 by Freedom House. Cuba lowered two positions and stands out among the countries that suffered again an erosion of political rights and civil liberties in the Americas despite being one of the most free regions in the world, the American organization of promotion of democracy Freedom House reported Wednesday.
