PNB stops Tiktoker Ashley Ways for making fun of a woman with cancer

A 16 -year -old girl, known on the Tiktok platform as «Ashley Ways», was arrested by the Division against Organized Crime (DCDO) of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) in the Yaracuy state, after the dissemination of a video that generated Public outrage.

In the audiovisual material, Ways made fun of the recent death of the mother of the Creator of Content Karlenys Arocha, who had suffered cancer. The video shows the smiling girl while exhibiting images of the deceased, addressing Arocha with derogatory comments.

«It turns out that today Karlenys’ mother died. Once again, demonstrating that I was right in my video, ”Ways said, referring to previous criticisms that had issued about Arocha’s mother’s disease. In the same video, the young woman added comments such as «people were born to die,» ending with a smile and the image of a fire.

The publication generated a wave of rejection on social networks, which led the Public Ministry to initiate investigation. The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, appointed National Prosecutor’s Office for the case, resulting in Ways arrest.

Saab declared that the legal actions were taken to «attempt against the good feelings and moral of the deceased’s daughter with the sole objective of harming him.» The young woman remains deprived of liberty while the investigation is developed.
