Polychacao will transfer prisoners to prison sentence to prison after protest in their seals

The Municipal Police of Chacao reported on Tuesday that he will transfer prisoners with conviction to prisons after protest in his seals.

Through a statement, Polchacao explained that an irregular situation was presented in the ‘shelter and guarantee of the detainee’ of the institution, where at least 18 deprived of liberty with conviction, began a protest to demand their respective transferred to a penitentiary center.

From the General Directorate of the Autonomous Municipal Police of Chacao we want to inform public opinion that on Monday, an irregular situation was presented in the protection and guarantee of the detainee of our institution, where at least 18 deprived of liberty with conviction, they began a protest to demand their respective transferred to a penitentiary center.

At the time of heating the spirits, all security protocols were activated to avoid leaks, injuries, hostage and damage situation that go against the human and constitutional rights of each detainee.

Simultaneously and with the promptness of the event, all the authorities were informed who went to resolve the conflict, provide care and response to the request of the inmates.

After an arduous administrative, legal, police, and continuous dialogue work, joint between the Chacao Police, the Public Ministry, Ministry of Popular Power for Penitentiary Service and other State Security Bodies, the agreement was reached to make the necessary transfers and thus comply with the corresponding criminal process.

Since the IAPMCH, important investments have been made in the adequacy of our apprehension room to comply with the standards that guarantee respect for the human rights of each person who is detained for having committed a punishable act.
