Polyportuguese stops three young people who tried to set a house in Guanare

Two adults and a teenager were apprehended by officials of the Portuguese State Police (Polyportuguese) when they tried to set a house in the Las Cocuizas hamlet, Guanare municipality, with people inside.

The incident occurred early on Sunday, February 9, when a police commission that carried out patrol work was alerted about the presence of several subjects who threw stones against a house where a woman and a child were.

Upon arriving at the place, the officers surprised one of the young people taking gasoline from the tank of a motorcycle, while another placed rubbers used on the porch of the house with the intention of setting them fire.

When giving the voice of Alto, one of those involved fled in the weed, while the other three were arrested in flagrance.

The case was sent to the second and fifth prosecutors of the Public Ministry in Guanare, under the charges of crimes against people and frustrated attempt.

«The rapid action of our officials allowed to frustrate this dangerous fire attempt and put those responsible for justice. We will not tolerate these types of acts that put people’s lives at risk ».
