Rubio Secretary of State qualifies Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela as «enemies of humanity»

The head of American diplomacy, Marco Rubio, visited Costa Rica on Tuesday as part of a tour of Central America and considered that country as an example in the region, while accused Nicaragua, Cuba and Venezuela of being «enemies of humanity «

“Those three regimes that exist: Nicaragua, Venezuela and Cuba are enemies of humanity and have created a migratory crisis. If it were not for those three regimes there was no migration crisis in the hemisphere, ”Rubio said at a press conference in San José, accompanied by the president of Costa Rica, Rodrigo Chaves.

He added that these three countries have created that immigration crisis, «because they are countries where their system does not work.»

He pointed out that in the case of Nicaragua, «it has become a family dynasty.»

«Today we have to recognize that Nicaragua is not a democracy, but you have to study it well because of the impact it will have not only in Nicaragua, but also in neighboring countries,» said Rubio.

At the press conference, the Rubio Secretary of State described on Tuesday as «very generous» an offer from the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bikele, to house hazardous criminals of the United States in the prisons of his country and said that the Trump administration I would have to study it.

“There are legal aspects involved. We have a constitution, we have all kinds of things, but it is a very generous offer. No one has ever made an offer like that. Subcontracting a fraction of cost, at least some of the most dangerous and violent criminals we have in the United States. But obviously the administration will have to make a decision, ”he said.

He also declared that the US plans to cooperate with Costa Rica and offer the assistance of the FBI and the Drodas Control Administration (DEA) to help investigate drug trafficking to the United States.

Rubio added that the US is willing to share biometric data with Costa Rica to identify migrants with possible links with terrorism.

Rubio arrived on Tuesday in Costa Rica on his first trip abroad, in which he presses to stop Chinese influence in Latin America.
