Five people were injured in a shooting that occurred on Tuesday in a school in Örebro, west of Stockholm, the Swedish police reported. The police operation continues in development and the situation is still confusing.

According to several Swedish media and the TT news agency, the author of the shots would have committed suicide after the attack. The authorities have confirmed that no agent was injured during the operation.
The Swedish police, who received a notice at 13:30 local time (12:30 GMT), is investigating crimes of murder, fire and serious crimes with weapons. An undetermined number of students and teachers remain locked in the enclosure as a protection measure until the operation ends. Police have urged citizens to stay away from the scene, highlighting that the danger has not yet passed.
The Örebro hospital has evicted the urgencies and the intensive care unit to serve the injured, said Public radio station of Sweden.
The Risbergska Campus school is an adult education center. As Svt Lena Warenmark told public television, one of the teachers, at the time of the shooting there were fewer students than usual in the enclosure, since many had gone home after finishing their exams.
