SUDEBAN announces bank holidays for March 2025 in Venezuela

The Superintendence of the Institutions of the banking sector of Venezuela (Sudeban), a regulatory entity of the country’s financial system, has announced the bank holiday calendar corresponding to the month of March of the year 2025.

Sudeban, organ attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Finance, seeks with this measure to guarantee the stability and proper functioning of the Venezuelan banking sector.

Bank holidays in March 2025:

• March 3 and 4: Carnival
• March 19: San José Day.

During these days, banking entities at the national level will remain closed, which will imply the suspension of financial operations and public service in the offices.

Users are recommended to take the necessary forecasts and anticipate their bank transactions to avoid inconveniences during holidays. It is also suggested to consult with each bank the services available through electronic channels and ATMs.
