Tiring in Toronto Pub causes 12 injured, according to the police

A dozen people were injured in a shooting in a nightlife store in eastern Toronto, police reported Friday night.

According to the authorities, reports of multiple people with gunshot wounds were received near Progress Avenue and Corporate Drive around 10:40 at night.

At first, Toronto’s paramedics reported that there were 11 adults with injuries that went from mild criticism. Police later indicated 12 people were injured, six of them with injuries that did not endanger their lives, although the severity of other cases was not immediately known.

Police also explained that a suspect with a black balaclava was seen fleeing in a silver car and was still a fugitive. People were asked to stay away from the area.

In an X update in the early hours of Saturday, the police said that three men were suspected of the shooting and that all the resources were being mobilized to locate and arrest those responsible.

The mayor of Toronto, Olivia Chow, said she spoke with the police chief, Myron Demiw, and told her that «all the necessary resources,» had been deployed.

“This is an early and ongoing investigation. Police will provide more details, ”he wrote on social networks. «My thoughts are with the victims and their families.»
