Unusual incident: dog accidentally shoots its owner in Memphis USA

A Memphis resident, Tennessee, suffered an accidental gunshot wound when his dog, a one -year -old Pitbull named Oreo, activated a firearm while jumping on the bed.

The incident occurred early Monday, while the man slept with his partner. According to the police report, Oreo «stayed with the leg trapped in the trigger insurance and ended up pressing the trigger of the weapon. The man suffered a bullet scratch in the left thigh and was treated in a local hospital.

The victim’s girlfriend reported to the local news station Fox 13 Memphis that both were sleeping when the shot occurred. The incident has been registered by the police as an «accidental wound.»
