At the moment, the SNGR maintains the red regional emergency alert in six of the twenty -four provinces of Ecuador (Guayas, Los Ríos, Manabí, El Oro, Esmeraldas, Santa Helena), while on an alert orange are Azuay, Bolívar, Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Loja and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas.

So far 12 temporary accommodations have been activated, where 511 people receive support.
