Venezuela activates «Productive Independence Plan» after elimination of the license to Chevron and blames the «failed» opposition of the measure

The Venezuelan government announced on Tuesday the activation of the Absolute Productive Independence Plan, in response to the ratification of the sanctions imposed by the United States Government (USA) to the oil company Chevronwhich prevents the production and export operations of Venezuelan crude.

«The new US government has succumbed to the pressure of failed and defeated opposition sectors of Venezuela, by definitely sanctioning the American company Chevron,» fustiga a statement released on Tuesday through the Telegram Canal of the Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez.

The new US government has succumbed to the pressure of failed and defeated opposition sectors of Venezuela, by definitely sanctioning the American company Chevron.

Chevron is over a hundred years operating oil fields in Venezuela, and today, thanks to the Venezuelan extremism lobby, it has been separated from its operations in the country.

The new US government pretending to harm the Venezuelan people, is self -inflicting a damage by causing increase in the price of fuels and affecting the legal certainty of their companies’s investments abroad, questioning the alleged and deceptive economic freedom.

President Nicolás Maduro has ordered the activation of the absolute productive independence plan, so that our hydrocarbons industry and the country’s economy follow its stable and diversified recovery.

Neither in the past nor now the same failed and defeated opponents can harm our country. A great conscience and national union will continue to mark the path of economic recovery with social justice.
