The Cubans, whose passport is defeated, will not be able to enter the island with that document from April 1 of this year.

For those residents abroad it will be mandatory to present a current passport, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Minrex) in December 2024.

In this way, the exception that allowed entry with expired passports, a temporary provision established in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
