Arrested man for sexually abusing his younger sister in Zulia state

Zulia State Police officials (CPEZ) arrested a 28 -year -old man for sexually abusing his 13 -year -old sister. The subject, identified as José Daniel Martínez Nava, was arrested in the Lomas de Niquitao sector, Baralt municipality.

According to the police report, Martínez Nava was denounced by his own sister, who accused him of abusing her for a long time. The victim reported that her brother subjected her to improper touching in her intimate parts, in addition to physically assaulting her and threatening her death if she revealed the abuses.

The young woman finally dared to denounce the facts before the authorities, who acted immediately. After receiving the complaint, CPEZ officials moved to the Lomas de Niquitao sector and managed to capture Martínez Nava.

The detainee was transferred to the police headquarters and made available to the Prosecutor’s Office 43 of the Public Ministry, which will be responsible for carrying out the corresponding investigations.

The victim was taken to Dr. Luis Razetti hospital to receive medical and psychological care. The minor’s clinical report was delivered to the authorities as part of the investigation.

Police and judicial authorities continue to work in the case to clarify the facts and guarantee the protection of the minor.
