Consulate of Spain in Cuba digitizes the procedures

The consulate of Spain digitizes procedures in Havana with the implementation of the Decireg system, a platform that marks a before and after in the management of Civil Registry certificates.

Since March 17, 2025, this diplomatic headquarters left behind physical books to operate completely in digital format.

This change is especially significant for Cubans who manage their Spanish nationality through the Democratic Memory Law, since they can now perform much of the process without physically attending the consulate.
