In this context he ordered the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, to accelerate the process for the repatriation of Venezuelan migrants.
«I have given the order to the special envoy for peace negotiations with the United States, Dr. Jorge Rodríguez, who increases all actions to guarantee return flights from the United States of all migrants who have been arrested,» said the president.
«I have ordered to increase all diplomatic actions to bring us all Venezuelans of the United States tomorrow at 10:00 am,» he added.
Maduro also emphasized that the government will cause all detained migrants to return to Venezuela «to give them respect, dignity, support, so that they return to their homeland and return with their family.»
Venezuelan migrants arrested in El Salvador
