Stop mother for brutally assaulting her six -year -old son in San Francisco, Zulia

The Bolivarian Police Corps of the State Zulia (CPBEZ) arrested a woman who physically assaulted her six -year -old son, causing hematomas in various parts of the body, under the excuse of «punishment» for having knocked down a fan.

The case came to light thanks to the complaint made by the authorities of the school where the child was studying. The events occurred in the Santa Fe sector, Los Cortijos Parish, in the San Francisco municipality.

After receiving the alert, police officers conducted an investigation and led the child to the El Callao Integral Diagnostic Center for a medical evaluation. The medical report revealed that the child had bruises on the face and shoulders, evidencing the violence to which he had been subjected.

Given the overwhelming evidence, the mother was arrested and made available to the Prosecutor’s Office 35 of the Public Ministry, in the guarantee room of the San Francisco West Police Coordination Center. Meanwhile, the child was put into the custody of a maternal aunt, who will take care of his care and protection.

The police and judicial authorities continue with the investigations to clarify the details of the case and guarantee the safety and well -being of the child.
