The roof of a disco collapsed during Rubby Pérez’s concert in the Dominican Republic

At least 15 people died and more than 70 were injured after the collapse of the roof of a disco in the Dominican Republic capital at dawn on Tuesday, authorities reported.

The teams were looking for possible survivors among the debris of Jet Set, said Juan Manuel Méndez, director of the Emergency Operations Center.

«We presume that many of them are still alive, and that is why the authorities will not cease until there is not a single person under those rubble,» he said.

Among the injured is Merenguero singer Rubby Pérez, who was in a concert when the roof collapsed.
