Rubio is visiting the Vatican to attend the opening Mass of Leo XIV on Sunday.

Monday’s conversations with the Russian and Ukrainian leaders will be the first that Trump will have since the meeting last Friday in Istanbul between delegations of Russia and Ukraine -the first in three years -, during which they made an exchange of a total of 2,000 prisoners of war and the next installment of their respective conditions to reach a high fire.
