They arrest a man for abuse of an old woman and damage to her home in Maracaibo

The Bolivarian Police Corps of the State Zulia (CPBEZ) has captured a 21 -year -old boy identified as Joger David Durán Riera for alleged death threats against a 60 -year -old woman and violent acts against the victim and regional police officers.

The incident took place in the San Pedro neighborhood, Manuel Dagnino parish in Maracaibo. Durán Riera broke into the woman’s home, whose relationship with the aggressor has not been confirmed, and caused damage to the property.

According to the police report, Durán Riera uttered death threats against Sexagenaria. Before the arrival of the CPbez officers, the young man reacted violently, taking a piece of block and threatening to damage the patrol unit if they tried to stop him.

Despite his resistance, Durán Riera was apprehended by police officers. It was physically and psychologically evaluated at the La Chamarreta Comprehensive Diagnostic Center and subsequently transferred to the CPbez Police Headquarters, where it remains in custody available to the Public Ministry for the corresponding investigations.
