Undigan child abuse in Maracaibo: woman arrested for chaining her son

Maracaibo police officers arrested a woman identified as Rosbely Katherine Mora Flores, resident of the La Esperanza neighborhood of the Zulian capital, for her alleged involvement in the chain of her five -year -old son.

The arrest occurred after the residents of the sector to the child’s grandmother, who reported on the alleged abuse inflicted by Mora Flores to their own son.

Having knowledge of the situation, the child’s grandmother went to the authorities to formalize the complaint. After the police intervention and the arrest of the alleged aggressor, the infant was immediately transferred to the pediatric emergency of the General Hospital of Southern Maracaibo to receive medical care.

The case has been sent to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding investigations. Meanwhile, the custody of the child has been granted to his maternal grandmother.
