Venezuela announces the arrival of more than 300 migrants from Mexico

The Government of Nicolás Maduro announced the arrival of an airplane with more than 300 Venezuelan migrants from Mexico, as part of the return plan to the homeland.

After landing the ship, the Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, confirmed that the arrival of the ship occurred after conversations with the Mexican authorities.

«It was a direct agreement with the Government of Mexico so that 311 Venezuelans arrive today. It is a beautiful gesture from the Mexican government. Having them here is a peace of mind for these families ».

He insisted that these citizens are now protected from «persecution» by the United States.

«Today they are received in a loving and supportive way. It is the way of working between governments without threats »

On those who are arrested in El Salvador, Cabello rejected that they have been labeled as criminals.

«They were not subjected to trial. We hope that the Government of El Salvador will give the kidnapped to meet their family, ”he said before accusing Bukele’s administration as a violator of human rights.

Previously, the US State Department warned that it will apply «new, severe and progressive sanctions» to Venezuela if it does not accept new airplanes with its deported nationals, after Caracas condemned the deportation of the more than 200 people to El Salvador without a previous judicial view and under accusations of supposedly belonging to the Transnational Criminal Organization Train of Aragua, indicated as a terrorist.
