Venezuela confirms the resumption of flights with deportees from the US: «We will take care of our compatriots»

Previously, Grenell had announced on social networks the agreement with the administration of Maduro.

«I am pleased to announce that Venezuela has agreed to resume flights to pick up their citizens who violated American immigration laws and entered the country illegally,» he wrote in his account of social network X.

Grenell added that «flights will resume on Friday» without facilitating more details.

Last week Venezuela indicated that the decision of the administration of President Donald Trump to withdraw the license to Chevron meant the interruption of the flights scheduled with airplanes of the state convies to take Venezuelan migrants in the US in the US.
