Venezuelans under debris in collapsed disco in the Dominican Republic

At least four Venezuelan citizens would be among the rubble of the Jet Set Club of the Dominican Republic, after the tragic collapse of the roof of the establishment during a concert of the Rubby Pérez merenguero.

According to information disseminated by the 2001 newspaper, missing Venezuelans have been identified as Leidymar Parra (39), Esmairo Fuenmayor (43), Ana Muñoz (49) and Dougliana Villalobos (25).

Family members and relatives of these four people have expressed their deep concern through various social media platforms, given the lack of information about the state of health and whereabouts of their loved ones after the unfortunate incident that occurred in the early hours of the (date of the incident).

The Emergency Operations Center (COE), through its general director Juan Manuel Méndez, informed that so far 27 deceased people and 134 transfers to health centers from different parts of the Dominican capital have been confirmed as a result of the structural collapse.

The rescue and removal work of debris continues in the place of the incident, while the uncertainty grows between the Venezuelan community and the relatives of the disappeared. It is expected that in the next few hours the Dominican authorities can offer more information on the identification of the victims and the advance of the search operations.

The Venezuelan community in the Dominican Republic and abroad remains in suspense, offering support and solidarity to those affected by this tragedy and waiting for news about the destiny of its compatriots.
