Neighbors denounced drug sales in Havana with a graffiti on the street

Neighbors of the Municipality of October Diez, in the Cuban capital, denounced the sale of drugs on Pérez Street, located in the Luyanó neighborhood.

The complaint came anonymously with the graffiti of a huge poster in which you could read: «Here is chemical», in large letters that covered almost the entire street.

Through an image shared by the digital medium 14ymedioyou can see the magnitude of the poster, which was deleted after several hours, since the forces of the order did not arrive immediately to the place.

Revenge, announcement or provocation?

Before the complaint, which was done anonymously, many wonder if it is an act by the neighbors to attract the attention of the authorities, or if, on the other hand, it is some provocation by other traffickers.

Some believe that it can be an alert so that the necessary measures are taken, since the same residents of the area ensure that every day it is more complicated to live there because it is always full of «tremendous elements», in reference to the individuals who usually swarm in the surroundings.

The digital media also assured that many passersby avoid going through that street in the Luyanó neighborhood because they fear being victims of assaults. One of the newspaper interviewees revealed that there is always high music, as well as parties that end in fights.

What is the chemist?

Known as «The Chemist» this drug belongs to the Cannabinoid family and is a highly addictive synthetic.

It was created in order to imitate the effects produced by marijuana, but being chemically altered, this increases its power and danger in the face of consumption in excessive quantities.

For the creation of this substance, highly toxic ingredients such as veterinary formalol and anesthetics are used. It should be noted that this manufacturing is carried out clandestinely and without taking into account doses or hygienic measures, which makes it highly addictive and dangerous for health.

Main effects of «the chemist»

Among the main effects caused by «the chemist» is seizures, loss of knowledge and muscle control and psychosis. In addition, its long -term consumption causes irreversible damage to mental and physical health.

Unfortunately, it is increasingly common to see young people on the streets while the effects of this dangerous cannabinoid are low. For their part, the Cuban authorities seek to implement measures such as the National Drug Observatory (OND) and carry out workshops such as the third exercise of prevention and confrontation to drug illegal.
