Who is Daylin Rodríguez, the new Miss Grand Cuba?

Daylin de la Caridad Rodríguez is a 17 -year -old Cuban model, with a trajectory that surprises both its youth and its maturity.

Born and raised on the island of Youth, he emigrated to the United States with just 13 years, after having lived six years without his parents.

His arrival in the northern country was possible thanks to the family reunification program, traveling with his brother, also a model.

He is currently a student at Somerset Academy South Homestead and has an outstanding training in dance.

He has participated in events such as New York Fashion Week and the Universal Petite International Contest.

Daylin was recently crowned as Miss Carnival of Miami, after winning 17 candidates in the 41st edition of the contest.

The road to Miss Grand Cuba 2025

The title of Miss Grand Cuba is managed by the Miss and Mister Cuba organization, based in Miami.

Since 2022, an official contest is held to select the representative, and in this edition, the gala was presented by Luciana Fuster, Miss Grand International 2023.

Daylin’s choice was held by the organization with the phrase «The crown has found its queen», underlining the emotional connection between the young woman and her new responsibility as an ambassador of Cuban beauty.

Where and when will Miss Grand International 2025?

The Miss Grand International 2025 contest will be held on October 18 in Bangkok, Thailand, at the MGI Hall.

It will be the 13th edition of the contest, which has been consolidated as the most innovative and with greater growth in the field of beauty competitions.

The current queen, Rachel Gupta of India, will crown her successor in a gala that promises show, emotion and a first -level staging.

A constant presence

Since the first edition of the contest, Cuba has said present. In 2013, Jamillette Gaxiola opened the way by positioning among the 10 finalists.

Since then, our representatives have shown that Cuba has talent, beauty and charisma to highlight in the international scene.

«Today I address you to make an urgent call for the voice of reason and heartbeat. We are at a critical moment in our history, where war and violence continue to take prominence in our societies, separating families, destroying homes and turning off lives. As unfortunately we know, in conflicts women and children are the first and those who suffer the most. From October 2023 to the present, more than 20,000 innocent children have died due to terror and violence that we live today. Today we make an unwavering commitment so that our words are seeds of reconciliation and peace in the world ».
