Blue Origin sends the fiancee of Bezos and Katy Perry to the limits of space

The NS-31 mission of Blue Origin successfully took the limit of the atmosphere with the space with Lauren Sánchez, promised by Jeff Bezos, singer Katy Perry, the presenter Gayle King, the producer Kerianne Flynn, the engineer Aisha Bowe and the activist Amanda Nguyen on board.

This is the first Mission of the New Shepard rocket, of the 11 that has already completed with a crew, in which all occupants are women.

Bezos, founder of Blue Origin, fired the crew from the entrance of the capsule, which took off at 7:30 in the morning local time (12:30 GMT).

Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian and Oprah Winfrey were present in the Texas launch zone to show their support for their millionaire friends and highlight the historical character of this launch.

The crew reached zero gravity three minutes after the launch and shortly after they crossed the Karman line, considered the border between the atmosphere and the space.

The crew, who through audio communication with land shared shouts of emotion, were able to enjoy zero gravity for a few minutes, before the New Shepard capsule began their reentry career.

The rocket that put them in the space briefly returned at 7.20 minutes to the launch platform and landed vertically, while the capsule touched land at 10 minutes.
