Three men in Barquisimeto for fraud on the offer of Internet services

The detainees were identified as Willian Rafael Falcón Rosendo, 46 ​​years old; Bryan Falcón Espinoza, 27 years old; and Pedro Miguel Molina Hurtado, 35 years old. The apprehension was carried out in the Los Primos sector, Tamaca Parish, Iribarren Municipality of the Lara State.

The investigation revealed that those involved offered a fraudulent installation service «all inclusive» of the Internet per fiber optic for an amount of US $ 70, which included the first month of free service, a modem UN of fiber optic, a router of 4 antennas, the installation and 100 meters of optical fiber. Additionally, they promoted Internet plans with prices that began from $ 25.

The information about this police procedure was disseminated through the official Instagram account of the director of the CICPC, General Commissioner Douglas Rico, who detailed the capture of individuals after the relevant investigations.

The authorities continue investigations to determine the number of people affected by this fraud scheme and urged the community to take precautions to service offers that seem too good to be true and to verify the legality of the Internet supplier companies.
