MP imputes women in reckless driving with four children in Lara

The Public Ministry (MP) has reported on the apprehension and imputation of a citizen identified as María González in the Lara state, after being detected driving a motorcycle recklessly with four children on board.

The incident, occurred in the dangerous via Lara-Zulia, was documented and disseminated through the official Instagram account of the Public Ministry, generating concern in the community.

According to the official report, María González transported four minors between 3 and 9 years, exposing them to a serious risk when irresponsibly traveling by the aforementioned road artery. The driver’s action not only endangered the physical integrity of the children under her charge, but also that of other road users.

Consequently, the Public Ministry has accused González for the crime of cruel treatment, in accordance with current legislation. The authorities reiterate their commitment to the protection of the rights of children and adolescents, and call citizens to drive in a responsible way, ensuring their own security and that of others.
